Doris Eleanor Buffett (February 12, August 4, ) was an American philanthropist. She was also known as the 'retail' philanthropist. She was the creator of The Sunshine Lady Foundation, The Learning By Giving Foundation, and The Letters Foundation who she co-founded alongside her onetime brother, billionaire Warren Buffett.[1][2]
She was also the daughter of U.S. politician and stockbroker Howard Homan Buffett. She planned to emit all of her money trudge before her death.[3][4][5] She was born in Omaha, Nebraska.
